Coaching terms and consumer information

These terms explain the arrangements for coaching purchased through strengthcoaching.online. Please read them with the description and price shown for the particular coaching option before placing an order.

1. Provider and contact

The coaching provider is Luke Selway, operating as Strength Coaching Online, a sole proprietor based in Germany. Contact information is available in the Legal Notice. For questions about an order, contact luke@strengthcoaching.online.

2. What is included

The website offers three levels of online strength coaching:

  • Core: access to the available training programmes, resources and coaching community, with the support described for Core at purchase.
  • Momentum: individual programming and ongoing coaching feedback according to the offer description and onboarding arrangements.
  • Accelerator: a higher-support coaching option with additional onboarding and support as described before purchase.

The exact services, support frequency and any limitations for the selected option are set out in the offer description and purchase information provided at the time of ordering. Coaching is provided remotely. Appropriate equipment, internet access and any agreed training records or videos may be needed to use the service.

Free guides and resources are separate from paid coaching. Where a free resource is offered as a benefit of subscribing to emails about strength training, free resources and coaching, the subscription condition and the Privacy Notice are presented before signup.

3. Ordering and the contract

You select the coaching option and complete the order through a Stripe-powered checkout or an expressly linked payment page. Before confirming an order, you must be shown the coaching option, applicable price and taxes, billing frequency, any minimum term or renewal conditions, and payment obligation. The terms you receive with the confirmed order apply to that purchase.

Payment is processed by Stripe; Strength Coaching Online does not receive your full card number. A purchase does not itself subscribe you to optional emails about strength training, free resources and coaching. Onboarding or community access is arranged after purchase, using the details provided with your order.

4. Prices and recurring payments

The final checkout information must show the total price in euros, including applicable taxes, as well as any recurring billing interval and conditions for automatic renewal. There are no physical shipping charges for online coaching. Charges are collected through the payment method selected at checkout.

For a recurring coaching subscription, future payments follow the billing cycle disclosed before purchase until the subscription ends in accordance with the agreed conditions and applicable law. Any payment method or price changes must be communicated as legally required. This page does not override the price and billing details specifically confirmed at purchase.

5. Starting and using coaching

Core access is ordinarily arranged following a successful purchase. Momentum and Accelerator begin with an onboarding process so the coaching plan can reflect your goals, training history, schedule and circumstances. A precise start date or particular response and review schedule applies only where it has been agreed in the offer or individually.

Coaching is training guidance, not medical diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation. Please make the coach aware of circumstances relevant to training safely, and seek appropriate professional advice if you are unsure whether an activity is suitable for you. Training outcomes depend on individual circumstances and cannot be guaranteed.

6. The two-week coaching guarantee

The website offers a two-week guarantee: if you decide within the first two weeks of joining that coaching is not the right fit, tell us at luke@strengthcoaching.online and we will refund your coaching payment. This is an additional voluntary promise and does not reduce any statutory consumer rights, including the separate right of withdrawal described below.

7. Your legal right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer entering a qualifying distance contract, you generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal beginning when the contract is concluded. You can withdraw without giving a reason. Full information, the procedure, and a model withdrawal form are set out in Withdrawal Rights.

The voluntary two-week guarantee above is separate from the statutory withdrawal right. Do not assume that beginning coaching automatically eliminates the statutory right. Any lawful treatment of services started during the withdrawal period depends on the applicable consumer-law requirements and information/express requests obtained in the checkout.

8. Cancelling recurring coaching

For recurring subscriptions, you can cancel through the account or subscription-management method provided with your purchase or contact luke@strengthcoaching.online. Ending a subscription stops future service and payments under the applicable terms and statutory rights; it does not automatically reverse charges already incurred.

9. Intellectual property and materials

Programmes, guides, training documents and videos made available as part of coaching are for your own permitted use. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, their provision does not give you permission to sell or republish them. This does not limit your statutory rights or lawful quotation/use.

10. Responsibility and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer rights. Statutory remedies remain unaffected.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please contact luke@strengthcoaching.online if something goes wrong with an order or coaching. We will try to resolve concerns directly.

12. Governing law

German law applies, without depriving consumers habitually resident in another country of mandatory protections that apply to them under relevant consumer law. No exclusive court venue is imposed on consumers.
